Sleep And Circadian Health Disturbances In Psychosis And Depression: The Cascading Impacts Of Impairments In Cognitive Control (CHiP-D).

This study sets out to investigate how sleep patterns and circadian changes influence our emotional and cognitive wellbeing. The project is funded by the Wellcome Trust and is a collaboration between: University of Kent, Canterbury Christ Church University, King’s College London, University of Liverpool, South London & Maudsley NHS Trust and Kent and Medway Mental Health NHS Trust.

The ALFI Project (Associations Between Low Field Imaging, Cognition, Lifestyle And Wellbeing) is an innovative research study exploring how portable, low-field MRI technology can be used to better understand brain health across diverse communities.

The EClocker project looks at the potential impact of sleep disturbances and shift schedules on the emotional wellbeing of NHS staff. An intervention designed to improve sleep and mood will also be explored.

The "Brain Circuits of Cognition" project aims to identify cognitive and neural markers of depression and schizophrenia. This is a collaboration between Boehringer Ingelheim and the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN) at King’s College London.

Mechanisms underlying treatment response in psychosis (MUTRIPS) is a European Research Council funded project which aims to identify the neural mechanisms underlying antipsychotic treatment response in psychosis.
