Robert Edwards
Rob is formerly a student from University of Greenwich, he studied Sport Science before doing a post graduate masters in strength and conditioning, spending time working with elite athletes for several years. His focus was on recovery and elite performance, which meant studying sleep, recovery methods and exercise, which has led to his interest and introduction to a research project.
Rob is a research assistant on a project led by Professor Sukhwinder Shergill and supports the processing of biological samples. He will also manage the logistics of biomarker samples, processing of materials and assist with recruitment and assessment of study subjects. Alongside this role, he is undertaking a PhD.
