Dr Richard E. Daws

Richard E. Daws was a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department for Neuroimaging. He was funded by an industry collaboration between Boehringer Ingelheim and KCL on the "Brain Circuits of Cognition" project that aims to identify cognitive and neural markers of depression and schizophrenia. More details can be accessed here

Richard's PhD used functional MRI to study cognitive control and the treatment response to psilocybin therapy in depression patients. Richard was particularly interested in how - and why - well-being, cognitive ability and brain function vary over time.
