Alexandra Perkins
Alex's PhD research explores how mental health challenges affect trust, threat perception, and social functioning in displaced populations. Using a mixed-methods approach, the study aims to better understand their lived experiences. This research further seeks to inform the development of more effective psychological support for refugees and asylum seekers, particularly those with PTSD, to aid their integration into new societies.
