Dr Anne Fett

Anne Fett is a postdoctoral Research Fellow (VENI NWO) and NARSAD Young Investigator. She holds a BSc in Psychology from the University of Groningen, an MSc Research Master Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience and PhD from Maastricht University/VU Amsterdam. Her research focuses on the investigation of the social cognitive and neural mechanisms that underlie symptoms and social functioning of patients with psychosis and cognitive and neural mechanisms of social behaviour in healthy individuals.  Her key interest is to apply her fundamental research findings within clinical settings where they can be translated into interventions. She recently developed a new module for the Metacognitive Training (MCT) for patients with psychosis with the aim to foster trust and social interaction and a smartphone application to improve patients’ well-being and social functioning in their daily lives by providing tailored feedback and activity prompts. The app is currently tested by Anne and her team at the VU Amsterdam.
