Dina Gamaleldin
Dina Gamaleldin is a first year PhD student focused on improving interactive learning in mental health through contemporary AI technology. Her research examines how AI can enhance the educational experience for professionals studying mental health. In addition to her academic work, Dina is an author and illustrator of five bilingual children's books, aimed at engaging young readers and promoting cultural understanding. To deepen her understanding of human interactions and emotions related to mental health, she teaches a few hours each week at a psychiatric unit in a hospital school. This hands-on experience enriches her research and provides valuable insights into the learning process in mental health settings. Dina’s work combines her teaching background, her passions for art, literature, and mental health education, making her contributions both impactful and relevant.
