Ashleigh Davies MEng

Ashleigh Davies completed both her Undergraduate and Masters Degree in Engineering at the University of Oxford. There, she discovered a passion for neuroscience and biomedical engineering, for which she received the Oxford Qualcomm Prize. Ashleigh’s MEng thesis investigated the time-variant nature of pain-related behaviour using a Virtual Reality task. She has since worked as a Research Technician at University College London, specialising in Medical Imaging and Machine Learning. Her research interests include sleep, circadian rhythms, and the role of neuroplasticity in chronic conditions.

Her current role as Research Assistant to Professor Sukhi Shergill at Kent and Medway Medical School involves facilitating and conducting research, and overseeing collaborations between KMMS and a range of Universities, Trusts, NHS Staff, both in the UK and overseas.
